District Workshop: Anticipatory Action Triggering Criteria
Hands-on district workshop for disaster management actors on forecast-based triggers, early action menus, and protocol documentation.
CCI convenes a district-level workshop building on ACT-II curricula developed with WAVE Foundation under Oxfam support. Participants practise interpreting forecast products and selecting early actions under time pressure.
Sessions cover DMC and CMC roles, safeguarding during accelerated response, and documentation standards expected by international partners.
Facilitators use coastal and flood scenarios drawn from CCI’s Char Kajol and related field experience so exercises feel locally relevant
The workshop ends with a draft trigger–action matrix that each participating institution can refine after the event.
Registration prioritises women staff and persons with disabilities serving in local disaster management structures
