About Us
Climate intelligence for resilient communities
Center for Climate Intelligence (CCI) is a Dhaka-based climate research and disaster risk reduction organisation established in 2022. We translate complex climate and hazard data into actionable protocols for communities, local governments, and development organisations.
Our mission
To translate climate and hazard science into operational protocols, early action frameworks, and capacity development programmes that strengthen community resilience and inclusive disaster risk reduction across Bangladesh.
Our vision
A Bangladesh where anticipatory action, evidence-based DRR, and GEDSI-centred practice protect the most climate-vulnerable communities — from coastal chars to hill tracts and humanitarian settings.
Our story
Established in 2022, CCI operates as a consulting firm and research organisation at the intersection of climate science, community resilience, and humanitarian practice.
What we bring
Our work spans flood risk analysis, cold wave hazard assessment, landslide susceptibility mapping, anticipatory action trigger design, and disability-inclusive DRR programming. We bring applied mixed-methods research experience in climate-vulnerable coastal communities, a track record in anticipatory action framework design, and GEDSI integration embedded as an operational standard.
