Field Exchange Visit: Char Kajol Anticipatory Action Pilot

CCI and Caritas Bangladesh host a field exchange visit to the PRICCE anticipatory action pilot in Char Kajol Union.

Visitors meet community volunteers, observe early warning dissemination practice, and walk through shelter and evacuation planning discussions.

The exchange emphasises learning from a coastal charland context analogous to other Barguna and Patuakhali programme areas

Safety, consent, and community protocols guide all interactions with residents.

A debrief note captures visitor questions for the pilot learning agenda

Programme highlights

• Community and volunteer meetings
• Shelter and warning walkthroughs
• Cross-district peer learning
• Documented debrief for pilot learning

CCI embeds gender-responsive methodologies, disability-inclusive data collection, and intersectional analysis across all fieldwork and reporting — not as an add-on, but as a core design principle.
