CCI completed an internal methodological research effort to formalise sampling strategies, indicator-aligned tools, and structured QA protocols for climate vulnerability baselines.

The research compared digital collection platforms (KoBoToolbox and SurveyCTO) and analysis workflows in Stata, documenting failure modes such as skip-logic errors, incomplete GPS capture, and enumerator drift.

Resulting SOPs define daily QA checks, supervisor spot audits, and dataset versioning rules that keep baseline data reliable and usable for performance tracking across multi-year cycles

Partner-facing annexes explain how CCI’s QA approach meets documentation standards expected by international agencies.

These protocols now underpin all CCI baseline and evaluation assignments as standard practice

CCI embeds gender-responsive methodologies, disability-inclusive data collection, and intersectional analysis across all fieldwork and reporting — not as an add-on, but as a core design principle.
